VEENDAM - BV Veendam is maandagavond zonder zelf te spelen naar de 13e plaats in de Jupiler League gezakt. BV Veendam zag FC Eindhoven voorbij gaan omdat de ploeg uit de lichtstad met 3-0 won op bezoek bij FC Dordrecht.
De achterstand op de felbegeerde negende play-off plek bedraagt maar slechts twee punten. Aanstaande vrijdagavond neemt Veendam het IJs en wederdienende op Aan De Langeleegte tegen FC Eindhoven.
